Dr. Amit B. Singh is the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs at Clark State Community College, and has served in this capacity since March 2014. Prior to joining Clark State, he was the Dean of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at the largest campus of Cuyahoga Community College in Parma. He also served as the Dean of the Business and Computer Science division at Montgomery County Community College in Pennsylvania. He previously served as Assistant Dean of the Business and Social Science division and also as a Professor of Business, Economics, and Finance at Darton State College in Albany, Georgia. Dr. Singh has also taught at Kennasaw State University Business School, as well as Albany State University and Southwestern State University in Georgia.

Prior to joining academia he worked as an investment analyst at a brokerage firm and as a senior financial analyst at a corporate governance consulting firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Singh holds four graduate degrees - MA in Economics, MBA, MS in Finance, and PhD in Economics.
