Kevin David, Ph.D.

Dr. Kevin David is the West Campus Provost and Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at Tulsa Community College. A native of New York City, Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York College at Cortland before attending the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. After seven years as a full-time faculty member at the University of Puget Sound (WA) and Northeastern State University (OK), Kevin joined TCC as the Director of Planning and Institutional Research before taking on his current roles. As Provost, Kevin serves as the senior administrator for a campus with over 2,700 students, providing leadership for all campus operations and overseeing three academic schools and divisions that serve students across the College. He also works closely with local community leaders, donors, and legislators to meet the unique needs of the area. As Associate VP for Institutional Effectiveness, Kevin coordinates the College’s strategic plan, and he recently led the development of a structure and process for integrating TCC’s efforts in the AACC Pathways Project with the institution’s strategic plan. He serves as a peer reviewer and TCC’s Accreditation Liaison Officer for the Higher Learning Commission, and was a leader of the College’s work in Achieving the Dream. As a certified Change Management Practitioner, he helps employees navigate the many transitions underway at his institution. Kevin and his wife, Kelly, have two young children.
