Terri Berryman, Ph.D.

Dr. Terri Berryman is the Associate Vice President at McHenry County College. In this role, she is responsible for career and technical education and all non-credit offerings at the college. This division at the college encompasses over 50 degree and certificate programs and numerous non-credit offerings. She began her tenure at McHenry County College in 2014 as the Executive Dean of Workforce and Community Development. Prior to working at MCC, she was the Project Director for the Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN) Career Pathways grant at the College of Lake County in Grayslake. In this role, she coordinated a Department of Labor TAACCCT consortium grant with 17 Illinois community colleges and a budget of $19.1 million. She has also served as the Director of the Lake County Workforce Development Department and steered the organization through the recession, serving hundreds of residents with training. In this role, she worked with workforce development staff in the Metropolitan Chicago area and statewide to address regional workforce and economic development needs. She has also served as the Director of Career Services for Roosevelt University and the College of Lake County. She has been an active member in many state and regional organizations committed to workforce and economic development.

Dr. Berryman has a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with an emphasis in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Truman State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University.
