Susan Burleson is the Vice President for Student Success and Communications at Davidson County Community College (DCCC). She is responsible for integrating and launching student success initiatives, facilitating grant development, strategic planning, and campus professional development, and coordinating institutional research, outcomes assessment, and the college accreditation process. She leads DCCC’s involvement in Completion by Design and the Frontier Set. Prior to serving in this role, she was a faculty member, department chair, and academic associate dean at DCCC. Burleson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at N.C. State University and her Master of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is currently working on her doctorate in Adult and Community College Leadership at N.C. State University.
