Aliesha R. Crowe, Ed.D.

Dr. Aliesha Crowe currently serves as the executive director of institutional advancement at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Wisconsin. In this cabinet-level position, she focuses on developing external partnerships and increasing philanthropic support for student success initiatives, faculty and staff professional development, and campus infrastructure development.

Aliesha joined CVTC to serve as dean of industry, energy, and agriculture. In this role, she led the design, development, and fundraising of the CVTC Energy Education Center, a LEED Gold-certified facility that houses the college’s agriculture and energy programs. Additionally, she led multiple initiatives focused on increasing quality of instruction and student success. Previously, she served as a University of Wisconsin-Extension agriculture agent, where she was the first instructor in UWEX history to earn tenure and the rank of associate professor in Rusk County. She began her career as a K-12 career and technical education instructor in agriculture.

Community engagement has been an essential aspect of Dr. Crowe’s 19-year career in education. She is passionate about the community college mission, connecting external relations to student success, and exploring alternative revenue generation. She is keenly interested in expanding the role of the community college foundation, recently forming a real estate foundation and exploring public/private partnerships for campus real estate development.

Dr. Crowe holds a bachelor of science in animal science and master of science in agriculture education from University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a doctorate of education in organizational leadership, policy, and development from University of Minnesota.
