Cory Clasemann

2021-22 Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow
Dr. Cory Clasemann currently serves as the vice president for student success at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana. In this role he oversees student success initiatives for the 19-campus statewide college, working with faculty and staff to implement and scale evidenced-based approaches to increase retention and completion for all students. He also has responsibility for leading the college’s academic advising, student life, and holistic wraparound supports.

Dr. Clasemann joined Ivy Tech in 2012 as the assistant vice president of institutional research before moving into his current role in 2016. Prior to joining Ivy Tech, he served as the director of institutional effectiveness at the University of Indianapolis, and prior to that worked at Creighton University. He has a bachelor’s degree in journal & mass communication and music, a master’s degree in organizational management, and a Ph.D. in higher education.
