Holly Clendenen

2023-24 Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow
Holly Clendenen is the Chief Student Services Officer at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore, WI. She leads a team serving students through multiple departments including Advising, Academic Support, Admissions & Records, Disability Services, Student Life, Resident Life, and Facilities, Safety & Security. In 2022, the Aspen Institute named Southwest Tech one of the 10 finalists for the 2023 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. She has worked at Southwest Tech since 2015 and been employed in higher education since 2006. Prior to leading student services, Holly worked in fundraising, resource development, and college advancement.

Holly is married to her husband Matt and has three children, Carter, Kennedy, and Kellen. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a master’s degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University (now known as The University of Arizona Global Campus). She is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership at Franklin University.
