Nuriyah "Nora" Clark, Ed.D., is a first-generation college graduate with nearly 20 years of experience in higher education administration with a focus on student affairs. She is dedicated to facilitating opportunities for educational attainment and designing cohesive operations that reduce barriers within the student experience from prospects to graduates. Through this work, Clark's goal each day is to increase educational access for all and transform lives.

Clark currently serves as the vice president for student affairs at Frederick Community College (FCC) in Frederick, Maryland. She leads the vision and operation of student affairs departments, overseeing strategic enrollment and innovation, student engagement, student wellness, and student success operations.

Clark served as the vice president of student affairs at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY; the director of the Higher Education Opportunity Program at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY; assistant director of the Center for Academic Success and Achievement at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD; coordinator of the Student Success Center at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, MA; and coordinator of the Binghamton Success Program at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY.

Clark is a community college graduate, having earned an associate degree in liberal arts and science from Broome Community College, in New York. She completed a bachelor’s in health science from the State University of New York College at Cortland, a master’s in public administration at Binghamton University, and a doctorate in higher education administration at Northeastern University in Boston, where she studied resiliency in college students.

Dr. Clark is married and the mother of three sons.
