Rebecca Rahschulte

Dr. Rebecca Rahschulte, Vice President of Academic Affairs & Associate Provost, has served in various leadership roles at Ivy Tech Community College over the past 19 years embracing the majority of her tenure in academic affairs. Within campus operations, she served as both an Interim Campus Chancellor and a Site Director. In these roles, she created and led strategy resulting in improved post-secondary readiness outcomes and robust college in high school programming landing her in a statewide role as the Vice President of K-14 and Statewide Initiatives.

In her current position, Rahschulte supports the development of the College’s academic programs, campus academic affairs teams, statewide accreditation and assessment practices, as well as all transfer/articulation agreements. She’s responsible for leading strategy that ensures student success and retention across instructional modalities with a focus on leading the College’s centralized IvyOnline programming. Engaging with faculty and staff from across our system, she is working to develop a teaching and learning strategy aligned with the College’s new strategic plan, including support for the College’s educational technology and instructional design team. She oversees the work within student records, including the College’s Statewide Registrar’s Office/Team to ensure accuracy of records and alignment with institutional academic policies.

Dr. Rahschulte has served as a commissioner on the American Association of Community College’s (AACC) Commission for College Readiness. She has previously served on the Advisory Board for the Indiana Office of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship, the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America’s Hoosier Trails Council, and on the Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Cincinnati. Dr. Rahschulte holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) Degree and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree in School Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
