Dr. Tiffany Hunter currently serves as provost and vice president of academic affairs at Clark State College. She served as dean of education and human services at Florida State College at Jacksonville for 7 years prior to joining Clark State in January 2019. She has worked in higher education for more than two decades and in administrative roles, in both two- and four-year institutions for over 10-years. In her new role as vice president of academic affairs, she has oversight of all of the academic programs, credit and non-credit, curriculum oversight, leadership of faculty, and ensuring that the institution is meeting all accreditation requirements at Clark State.

She received a B.A. in political science from UNC-Greensboro, an M.A. in birth-kindergarten education from Lenior-Rhyne University, an M.S. in education and a Ph.D. in leadership for higher education, both from Capella University.

Dr. Hunter serves as a commissioner for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Commission on the Accreditation of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs, on the board of United Way of Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the National Council of Workforce Education (NCWE), and the Council on Accreditation for Two-Year Colleges (CATYC).

Dr. Hunter lives in Beavercreek, Ohio with her husband, Dr. Calvin Hunter, who works at Wittenberg University as an assistant professor of sport management, and their two sons, Logan, a senior at Wittenberg University and Landon, an 8th grader at Ridgewood School.
