Veronica Hipolito

Veronica Hipolito is the Vice President of Student Affairs at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. She is an innovative leader with over twenty-five years of experience in higher education in university and community college settings. She recently served as the Interim President of Scottsdale Community College with the Maricopa Community College District. Before her work with MCCCD, she served as the Chief Student Affairs Officer for Coconino Community College. She began her career at Northern Arizona University in the division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Ms. Hipolito leads efforts to increase access to education and strengthen student success through equity-minded policy and strategy development, community partnership, and cross-divisional effort.

She is active in the community and has served on several boards, including the Chandler Education Foundation and the United Way of Northern Arizona Board of Directors. In 2018, Ms. Hipolito was presented with the Coconino County Hispanic Advisory Council Cesar Chavez Community Leadership Award for her service to the community. In 2021, Ms. Hipolito was inducted into the Northern Arizona University College of Education Hall of Fame for her contributions to education, and she received the Northern Arizona University President’s Alumni Award in 2022.

Ms. Hipolito is a first-generation college graduate of Northern Arizona University with a master of arts in community counseling and a bachelor of science in elementary education. She is completing a doctorate in leadership in higher education leadership at Gwynedd Mercy University.
