Bryant Muniz

Institution: El Paso Community College Program: Radiologic Technology Expected Graduation Year: 2017
As a child of immigrant parents, Bryant learned English as a second language and worked his way through high school. He is thriving in the radiologic technology program at El Paso Community College and takes great pride in the hard work he’s put in to succeed as a first-generation college student. Bryant is making the most of a variety of learning methods, from watching videos to digging in with hands-on clinical work. Attaining success in such a demanding and time-consuming program is not easy, and Bryant has met every challenge. He eventually wants to attain a bachelor’s degree and become a physician’s assistant, to make a difference in the lives of others and give back to his community.
The radiologic technology program was my first step into getting to where I wanted to be. Having the drive to help people and knowing that I could make a difference in someone’s life is what I want to do for the community and for my career.
