Gelsey Mehl is a senior program manager at the College Excellence Program, where she conducts research and manages projects related to dual enrollment, community college transfer, and the American Talent Initiative. She is one of the coauthors of the Dual Enrollment Playbook, a guide for designing dual enrollment programs that advance equitable access and outcomes for students of color.
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Gelsey conducted best practice research at EAB. She published research on increasing the enrollment of historically underrepresented student populations and on improving financial and administrative operations.
Gelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
