He currently serves as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Virginia, where he works alongside faculty, staff, and community partners to expand access to strong academic programs, strengthen workforce connections, and create opportunities for students to build meaningful futures.

Over the course of his career, Dave has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles, including dean of academic affairs, associate vice president of development, executive director of a college foundation, and several positions in student affairs. He has also taught as a psychology adjunct, an experience that continues to shape his perspective on teaching, learning, and student engagement. Together, these roles have reinforced his belief that lasting impact comes from collaboration, clear purpose, and a shared commitment to students and community.

He regularly works with colleges and community organizations as a speaker and facilitator, focusing on ideas that are both thoughtful and actionable.

Dave lives in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with his wife, Carrie, and their three children – Chase, Luke, and Belle.
