Derrick Frazier

Derrick Frazier is an associate director at the College Excellence Program, supporting the American Talent Initiative and the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
Earlier in his career, Derrick served a variety of organizations that are committed to promoting educational equity and access, including Teach For America, the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, and Mott Philanthropic. He was a classroom teacher in a public middle school for three years, and additionally served as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.
Derrick holds an M.S.Ed. from Johns Hopkins University; an M.P.A. in Nonprofit Administration and an M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University; and a double B.A. from American University.
