Kevin Velasco

Kevin Velasco is a Research Associate with the Research and Innovation team. Prior to joining Aspen, Kevin conducted research on economic opportunity and mobility with the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and the Brookings Institution's Center for Economic Security and Opportunity. 

As a first-generation student, Kevin attended the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs where he earned bachelor's degrees in economics and political science. Kevin recently earned a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University. He strives to utilize his expertise in economics, public policy, and statistical analysis to drive positive societal change through evidence-based decision-making.
