Dr. Laura King is a future-focused educational leader committed to advancing the
transformative mission of community and technical colleges. She currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. She guides complex change by aligning institutional strategy with mission, embedding data-informed decision-making, and connecting strategic marketing and communications to drive measurable results.

With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Dr. King specializes in building future-
ready institutions by translating vision into action through data, strategic foresight, and collaboration.

Dr. King began her leadership journey at Saint Paul College as Dean of Institutional Research, Planning, and Grants before advancing to Vice President of Student Affairs. She then served at the University of Wisconsin–Stout as Vice Chancellor of Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives, where she led the development of the institution's first strategic enrollment plan. As Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, she aligned enrollment and retention strategies to stabilize enrollment and improve student success.

At Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Dr. King leads transformative initiatives including a strategic plan built on the College 3.0 framework, which centers post-graduation student
success and positions the institution to thrive in a rapidly evolving higher education landscape.

She holds a PhD in Educational Policy and Administration with an emphasis in Evaluation Studies from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities.
