Dr. Lisa Jellum serves as Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Partnerships and Innovation and Dean of the Atrium Health Floyd School of Health Sciences at Georgia Highlands College. In this role, she works with faculty, staff, and community partners to support academic programs, strengthen workforce pathways, and expand opportunities for students in the health sciences.
Her work focuses on developing partnerships between education and industry, particularly in healthcare, and helping students connect their education to meaningful career outcomes. She has been involved in launching and growing academic programs, supporting student success initiatives, and securing resources to enhance training and access.
Dr. Jellum earned her Doctor of Education (EdD) in School Improvement from the University of West Georgia. She also holds a Master of Public Health and two graduate certificates in Strength and Conditioning and Public Health from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Science from Georgia State University, and both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Montana State University Billings.
In addition to her administrative work, Dr. Jellum teaches courses in integrative wellness and health sciences. She is interested in practical approaches to health, student development, and creating supportive learning environments.
Her approach to leadership is grounded in collaboration, continuous improvement, and a commitment to student access and community impact.
