Dr. Carrie Brimhall has served Minnesota State Community and Technical College in various roles for more than 25 years. She has been president since 2018. She earned her doctorate and master’s degrees in organizational management with a specialization in leadership at Capella University, her bachelor’s in communications at Concordia College and her Associate of Arts degree at MSCTC.

Carrie believes education has the power to transform lives, families and communities. She was the first in her family to attend college, which has driven her to remove barriers for all students to ensure they can reach their highest potential and achieve their dreams. Her greatest accomplishments are collaborating with people to create solutions, building relationships with students, and celebrating the achievements of MSCTC State employees.
