Rebecca Lavinson is a Program Manager at the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program, where she works on Unlocking Opportunity to improve students' post-completion outcomes. Previously, she managed the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Rebecca worked on Federal and state-level education policy at the American Youth Policy Forum in Washington, DC, and on international education policy at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and UNESCO in Paris, France.
Rebecca holds a master’s degree in Economics of Public Policy from the Barcelona School of Economics in Spain, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
