Abigail Decker

Abigail Decker is a Senior Program Associate at the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program, where she supports the development of curricular modules and field engagements that prepare college leaders to make transformational change at their institutions. Her primary projects include the Aspen-AASCU Transfer Intensive and state-based program delivery. 

Prior to joining CEP, Abigail worked as a public-school educator in Fairfax County, Virginia, where she focused on responsive pedagogy, cognitively guided instruction, and nature-based teaching practices. 

Abigail earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Elon University. While in undergrad, she published research on queer and gender inclusivity in environmental education.
