Eunice Tarver has served as the vice president of student success and equity at Tulsa Community College since February 2021. As vice president, she is committed to fostering a culture of belonging for all and preparing students to thrive in their professional and personal endeavors. She is lauded as an equity-minded executive leader with 12+ years of experience in higher education. Her track record of success includes achieving successful institutional outcomes through visionary leadership, collaboration, financial stewardship, strategic and educational planning, and internal & external relations. She is a persistent advocate for creating multicultural environments that foster a commitment to student success and ethical values. She has affectionately been named a unifying bridge builder who thrives in stewardship environments as demonstrated by her accomplished shift over the last two decades from community and nonprofit program management into higher education leadership.

Dr. Tarver earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Oklahoma State University, a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. Prior to her current role, she served as provost for the School of Engineering, Aviation & Public Service. She is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa and a recipient of the 2022 League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa’s Madam President award. She is an active member of her community. She serves on the City of Tulsa’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund Committee, Teach for America Greater Tulsa’s Board of Directors, she is the vice-chair for the Zarrow Foundation’s 1921 Race Massacre Commemoration Fund Advisory Board, and serves on the ProsperOK Advisory Committee. Tarver’s passion is opening the door as wide as possible for students to access and complete a quality education that leads to a family sustaining wage.
