Hector Iweka

Dr. Hector Iweka is Vice President of Academic and Workforce Education at NHTI – Concord’s Community College in NH. He was previously Dean at SUNY Schenectady Community College, NY.

Dr. Iweka has over 15 years leadership experience in two- and four-year colleges as Dean, Program Chair, Program Coordinator, Program Director. He has 18 years of teaching experience at both community and private colleges, serving diverse student populations. Before academia, Iweka worked for 14+ years in the corporate environment, holding various leadership positions.

Iweka has participated in various leadership programs, including exploring the college presidency with Endicott College, American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) John E Roueche Future Leaders Institute, and Executive Leadership Institute with league for innovation in the community college.

Iweka holds a Ph.D. in organization and management from Capella University and a master’s degree in business administration in marketing from Federal University of Technology in Akure, Nigeria.
