Laura Stokes

Laura Stokes is an Evaluation Manager at the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program, where she serves as a mixed-methods researcher and evaluator. In this role, she leads the design and implementation of program evaluations, supports learning and continuous improvement across initiatives, and partners with program teams to assess impact, equity, and effectiveness of strategies aimed at improving post-secondary student success. 

Prior to joining Aspen, Laura served as an evaluation lead at the New South Wales Department of Education in Sydney, Australia, where she honed her skills in assessing educational programs through diverse methodologies. 

Her academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.A. in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University, as well as a B.S. in Marketing and Psychology from Tulane University.
