Laurie Boeding

Laurie Boeding is the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Trident Technical College (TTC), where she has served for over 22 years. She began her career at TTC as a faculty member teaching information technology and cybersecurity and has since held a variety of leadership roles, including department head, associate dean, academic dean, and campus dean. She is passionate about improving achievement for all students, aligning pathways to the workforce, and increasing retention and student success outcomes through innovation and data-driven transformational change.

Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in information systems management, a graduate certificate in higher education leadership from the University of South Carolina, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.

She serves in numerous leadership roles on both national and local boards, including the Associate Degree Board of Commissioners for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), the American Technical Education Association (ATEA), and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance’s Economic Leadership Council. She has also served on the Lowcountry STEM Collaborative board and was selected to represent TTC on the South Carolina Governor’s Cybersecurity Ecosystem Coordination Initiative’s Economic Development Subcommittee.
