Through the Aspen Prize, we have developed methods for assessing community college outcomes in areas such as student learning, certificate and degree completion, transfer and bachelor’s attainment, employment and earnings for graduates, and access and success for minority and low-income students. To support community college leaders and practitioners in evaluating their student outcomes relative to other institutions, Aspen has published this practice guide. It details methods for conducting comparative assessments of student outcomes among community colleges. The Aspen Prize is supported by Ascenduim, JPMorgan Chase, the Kresge Foundation, the Joyce Foundation, and in the past by the Siemens Foundation.
