Alex Anacki is a research associate with the College Excellence Program, primarily working on the next generation of Tracking Transfer & the Transfer Playbook. Within CEP, he focuses on using data and high-impact institutional practice to foster systems of higher learning that serve every student well.
Before joining CEP, Alex supported postsecondary policy work at Higher Learning Advocates focused on students’ basic needs. He also contributed to research at Brookings Metro and the FIU Jorge M. Pérez Metropolitan Center, where his areas of focus included the economic trajectories of young people, COVID-19 and its effects on South Florida’s economy, and systemic disparities in access and opportunity among racial and ethnic groups.
He is the proud product of a Florida public education and holds a B.A. from Miami’s public research university, Florida International University.
