Bernard Huggins is a Program Manager with the College Excellence Program. He serves on the Research and Innovation team supporting the efforts of the American Talent Initiative, the Transfer Scholars Network, and other programs that support innovation and equity in higher education.
Before joining CEP, Bernard served in various student-facing roles at Valencia College, the Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Central Florida. Most notably serving as the inaugural associate director for the Transfer Center at the University of Central Florida providing leadership to various student success initiatives and a team of professional and student peer coaches.
Bernard earned his master’s in leadership from Nova Southeastern University, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and an associate degree from Valencia College.
