American Talent Intiative

The American Talent Initiative (ATI) is an alliance of four-year institutions with high graduation rates committed to expanding access and opportunity for talented students from lower- and moderate-income backgrounds. ATI member presidents and teams set goals to increase opportunity for these students; they also come together to support one another and learn from exemplars in the field.

Introduction

The American Talent Initiative (ATI) is a Bloomberg Philanthropies-supported collaboration between the Aspen Institute's College Excellence Program, Ithaka S+R, and a growing alliance of four-year colleges and universities dedicated to substantially expanding opportunity and access for low- and moderate-income students. Since the initiative started in 2016, ATI’s 135+ members—all graduating at least 70 percent of their students within six years—have collectively increased enrollment of lower-income students by 18,100.
