Dr. Kimberly Lee is the vice president for institutional effectiveness with Albany Technical College (ATC). During a time of senior level transitions, she also served as the executive vice president. Under her leadership, the program evaluation process was modified to include a comprehensive review of data analytics to inform practice for both academic affairs and student affairs. Dr. Lee is also credited with improving performance with professional development particularly in the areas of data analytics for technical colleges and the attainment and promotion of women represented in higher education executive leadership positions.

Dr. Lee has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles that emphasize program development, program evaluation and services for traditional and post-traditional learners within higher education and adult education communities. Prior to her tenure with Albany Technical College, Dr. Lee served as the vice chancellor for adult education with the Alabama Community College System and she served as the director of assessment, evaluation and GED® Testing with the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).

Recognized for her service commitment to post-traditional learners, Dr. Lee serves as a member of the Education Attainment and Innovation Commission with the American Council on Education. She also serves as a board member with the Southwest Georgia Council on the Aging (SOWEGA), a member of the City of Albany Mayor’s Economic Development Coalition and a member of the Albany State University Institutional Strategic Planning Committee. Additionally, she serves as the vice president for programs for the Georgia Association of Women in Higher Education (GAWHE).

A native of Florida, Dr. Lee earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Florida State University in International Affairs and Learning Disabilities, respectively. She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Adult Education from the University of Georgia. She is also a graduate of both the Institute for Education Management with Harvard University, the Executive Leadership Institute with the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Leadership Institute with the League of Innovation for Community Colleges.
