Dr. Sean Hancock brings with him an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing our communities. He is a champion for education, empowering faculty, staff, and students since 1999. Dr. Hancock served as the Campus Director for San Joaquin Valley College’s Modesto, CA campus (a private career college), a private career college, for ten years prior to accepting the position of Vice President of Instruction and Student Services with Palo Verde College in 2014, Located in Blythe, CA. Dr. Hancock is a California community college alumnus, having graduated with an Associate of Arts in Business from College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA. After receiving a Bachelor’s of Management and Organizational Development from Fresno Pacific University, in Fresno, CA. Dr. Hancock attended TUI University where he received an MBA with a concentration in Finance. Dr. Hancock’s passion for lifelong learning led him to pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Administration from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where he received his Doctor of Education degree. Committed to community service and civic engagement, Dr. Hancock has participated in efforts sponsored by numerous community service organizations and advocacy groups, and is a member of the Blythe Rotary Club. Recognizing the profound impact that education has had on his life, Dr. Hancock is committed to changing lives through the power of education.
